I spoke to my grandmother today; she received La Capra's (a poster on this forum) yesterday (Wednesday).
My grandma was sooooo happy. She already tried it. She said it DEELICIOUSSSS!

My grandma received La Capra's (a poster here) blackberry jam yesterday (WED). She loved it! She said she tried it on toast & it's DEEEEEElicious!

my hubby has been doing photo assignments for the local newspaper.
two weeks ago, i got a call from a jw wanting a copy of photo he had taken.
it had some of her family members in it.. the phone call was strange, she didn't identify herself but we have caller id, so i knew who it was.

I'm sorry; What they did is not right.
One option: is billing them & sending the bill with signature requested through the mail. I don't know if a judge would or wouldn't honor this. They might say it is a civil thing & usually you're required to have some type of "contract". I don't know how a verbal contract would work.
2) You could use their own medecine & quote that bible text that says something like YOur Yes should be YES & your no should be no. (Don't remember the exact text)
I don't know if you read my thread on how a JW -housecleaner stole my home made blackberry jam. You can check out the thread. I know exactly how you feel. They have been taught to only think about themselves & that everyone else in the world is evil.
It's not true that JW's are the most honest people. Look how they don't protect the children from sexual/molestation/incest abuse.
I could go on & on ranting, but I'll stop now.

Three years ago I did an intership with Child protection services. They will only remove children when the children are in danger. CPS won't classify their parents behaviour (stealing) as endangerment to the kids lives.
What makes me upset is that they don't have any "goals" in life besides the JW goals (preaching).
I worked either full-time or part-time while I obtained my bachelors degree (and raising my daughter on my own.)
I'm now attending graduate school; and my loans are$18,500 per year. (graduate school is 2 years) a total of 37,000. I guess it's not fair that some people can live off of the government.
Okay, you do make sense I'll let welfare know & they can decide what they'll do with them. I'll send them copies of the payment "checks" ; & also forward them a copy of the police report.

He's a ministerial servant that's a good question. Aren't they supposed to have "jobs"?
He doesn't work. He's trying to get on disability insurance from social security. I know because they came to me so I could translate the paperwork for them about 2 months ago.
Yet, he can drive to Mexico and back (on vacation) with his family with no problem.
Something is fishy here with that family.

I'm inactive and I don' attend any of the meetings. I never attended her Spanish congregation; I attended the English.
Her congregation is also out in the county & not in town. There is also about 6 or 7 english congregations that attend three different halls. (includes several small towns & county areas beside the big city.)
